Welcome to the Bury St Edmund's Model Railway Club
All model railway enthusiasts, of all levels and interests are most welcome.
Club Nights are held weekly on Thursdays between 7.30pm and 10.30pm and Tuesdays (by arrangement).

We are proud that our club celebrated its 70th Anniversary in 2019.
The Club was inaugurated in March 1949 as a model engineering society and has gone from strength to strength, currently boasting a membership of some 40 souls.
By way of celebrations, we had a fantastic day at the North Norfolk Railway and held our biggest (thus far) annual model railway exhibition

Our Club rooms
Room 1
Members planning work on the large OO and N Gauge layouts.
Both layouts are "work in progress". The OO layout is quite an old layout and is having a massive facelift.

This is the heart of the club, where we get together to discuss the latest news and information and is also where our kitchen / refreshments area is.

Cobbold's Wharf at Warley 2022
Cobbold's Wharf our S7 layout was invited to be shown at the Warley Model Railway Exhibition at the NEC in November this year.
